A work
in progress_
I'm JK. I lead an Azure practice and I like taking things apart to see if they rebuild better. Work is the current victim. If a job takes a week, I want to know why it can't take a day.
In my own time I'm a developer who can't code and a product manager without a team. My agents are the nearest thing I have to one. They skip the stand-ups and haven't had an opinion on the roadmap yet.
These are my notes.
Why bother?
I want to know what happens next and shape how we use AI. The limits I hit last month are already gone so I run small experiments on real work. Reading about it only gets me so far. I need to see where it breaks.
Writing it down means I can look back in a year and see what I got right and when I changed my mind. I expect to change it a lot.
What you'll find here
- The fundamentals, taken apart. Expect bits left over
- Side projects with agents, finished and otherwise
- Agents in the wild
- TILs, for when something finally clicks
- Jokes at dad level. No refunds
The rules
- I say what I still don't get
- No hype. If something's overrated, you'll hear it here
- Plain English. Jargon gets explained or cut
- Agents help with drafts. I decide what goes out
How this site is built
This site is one of my experiments. Agents built it on Astro and Cloudflare. I made the calls and fixed what they broke.
Away from the keyboard
Most weekends I'm walking the dog up a hill. It's where the best ideas turn up.
Find me
I'm on LinkedIn andGitHub. Opinions are my own. So are the jokes, sadly.
